Two young men carrying crystal meth and firecrackers in Thanh Chuong were arrested.
(Baonghean.vn) - During a night patrol, the police of Vo Liet commune, Thanh Chuong district discovered and caught two subjects hiding firecrackers and drugs in a car.
Accordingly, at around 10:00 p.m. on January 13, while patrolling to control security and order in Truong Ky village, Vo Liet commune, the Vo Liet commune police working group discovered a Hyundai i10 car with license plate 37A-710.27 with many suspicious signs, so they proceeded toadministrative inspection.
Upon inspection, the Task Force discovered that the car contained 3 fireworks (36 pieces), made in China. Continuing the inspection, the Police discovered 2 more plastic bags containing a white substance (suspected to be methamphetamine) hidden under the footrest of the seat and on the person of one of the subjects.

During the initial investigation, the two suspects in the car admitted their names to be Bui Van Minh (born in 1995) and Tran Manh Cuong (born in 1988), both residing in Thanh Luong commune, Thanh Chuong district. The two suspects and all the evidence were taken to the police station by the working group for questioning.
Currently, the case is being investigated and clarified by Vo Liet Commune Police in coordination with Thanh Chuong District Police to handle it in accordance with the law.
