Accordingly, candidates exempted from the Foreign Language exam in the 2021 high school graduation recognition include:

- Member of the national team participating in the International Olympic Competition in Foreign Languages ​​according to the decision of the Minister of Education and Training.

- Candidates have one of the valid Foreign Language certificates (same or different from the Foreign Language subject being studied at high school), valid until at least July 6, 2021 and achieve the minimum score according to the table below:

Cases exempted from the Foreign Language exam in the 2021 high school graduation exam.

High school graduation exam 2021takes place from July 6-9, 2021. On July 6, candidates will complete exam registration procedures. The two official exam days are July 7-8, 2021. July 9 is the backup day.

In 2021, to be considered for high school graduation recognition, high school education candidates must take 4 exams, including 3 independent exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and 1 combined exam of the candidate's choice.

Candidates for continuing education take 3 exams, including 2 independent exams in Math and Literature and 1 combined exam of the candidate's choice.

Candidates for continuing education can register to take an additional Foreign Language test to get admission results.

For the Foreign Language exam, candidates can choose to take one of the following seven languages: English, Russian, French, Chinese, German, Japanese and Korean.

Candidates are registered for the exam.Foreign Languagedifferent from the Foreign Language subject being studied in high school. Candidates who are regular education students are registered to take the Foreign Language exam to get the results for university and college admission.
