(Baonghean.vn) - The Overseas Labor Center (Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) has just sent a notice to the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An province about the list of workers selected by Korean enterprises to work in Korea.

Accordingly, 67 Nghe An workers were selected and signed labor contracts by the Korean partner. All of these workers are male, aged 20 - 37. These are workers who have registered to work in Korea through the Nghe An Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Overseas Labor Center recommendsDepartment of Labor, War Invalids and Social AffairsThe province guides, explains and recommends that workers read the labor contract carefully and confirms the worker's wishes to sign a contract to work in Korea under the EPS program.

Previously, due to the influence ofCovid-19 epidemic, in the past, the Korean side has not organized entry for workers under the EPS program of all sending countries. Therefore, after signing the contract and completing the procedures, they have to continue waiting for the entry plan, some workers have their contracts canceled, leading to having to go through procedures to liquidate the sending contract, close the deposit account... causing difficulties for the workers.

To reduce difficulties and economic pressure and administrative procedures for workers participating in the EPS program, for those selected above, the deposit, payment of dispatching costs, criminal record preparation and signing of contracts to send workers to work in Korea under the EPS program will be notified by the Overseas Labor Center after the Korean side announces the entry plan.

It is known that this is the first contract signing ofNghe An workersfor the Korean market in 2021. The number of Nghe An workers signed contracts with Korean enterprises this time mainly work in the fields of fisheries, agriculture and machinery manufacturing.

In early 2020, Nghe An also had more than 300 workers going to work in Korea under this program. After that, the reception was interrupted due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Director of the Employment Service Center (Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) added.

Nghe An is one of the provinces with the largest number of workers in Korea with more than 5,000 workers. However, in recent times, Nghe An is also the locality with the largest number of workers.run awayand illegal residence in Korea is quite large. This situation has affected the rights of legal labor exporters.

To reduce the number of workers fleeing to Korea, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated with localities to organize propaganda and mobilize families with members working illegally in Korea to return home on time as per their contracts. Up to this point, Korea has lifted the temporary suspension of receiving workers in 6 districts and towns of Nghe An. However, there are still 3 localities where Korea has temporarily suspended the recruitment of workers: Nam Dan, Nghi Loc and Cua Lo town.

These are localities where the rate of workers whose contracts have expired and who do not return home on time is 28% or higher and the number of workers residing illegally in Korea is 53 or higher.
