(Baonghean.vn) - Many villages and hamlets in Dien Chau and Nghia Dan districts have stopped implementing social isolation according to Directive 16 after many days without detecting new cases.

On July 8, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued a Decision on stopping social distancing according to Directive No. 16 for a number of localities in Nghia Dan district.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee decided to stop implementing social distancing according to Directive No. 16 for Tan Thanh hamlet, Nghia Hieu commune, Nghia Dan district; Stop implementing social distancing according to Directive No. 15 for Nghia Thanh commune, Nghia Hung commune and the remaining hamlets of Nghia Hieu commune, Nghia Dan district. This decision takes effect from 0:00 on July 9.

To date, Nghia Dan district has only recorded 1 Covid-19 case residing in Tan Thanh hamlet, Nghia Hieu commune. This is an F1 case, who declared his health early and was quarantined promptly. Therefore, nearly half a month since he contracted Covid-19, the authorities have not recorded any cases of infection from this patient.

Also on July 8, the Provincial People's Committee issued a Decision to stop implementing social isolation according to Directive No. 16 in Dien Chau district. Accordingly, starting from 6:00 p.m. on July 8, hamlets 3, 8, 9, and 10 of Dien Thinh commune and hamlets 7, Thanh Luat, and Van Tap of Minh Chau commune will stop implementing social isolation according to Directive 16.

Thus, in Dien Chau district, there is only one village that still has to implement social isolation according to Directive 16, which is Village 12 of Dien Thinh Commune. On July 3, the Chairman of Dien Chau District People's Committee decided to relax this village, however, less than a day later, it had to be locked down and isolated again according to Directive 16 because a young man returning from Ho Chi Minh City was found to be positive for Covid-19.

To date, no ward or commune in Nghe An province has to be socially isolated according to Directive 16, only the village and block levels remain locked down. This is also the first day in the past 3 weeks that the whole province has not recorded any Covid-19 cases./.
