Thousands of people attended the funeral of 98 martyrs who died in Laos.
(Baonghean.vn) - From early morning, thousands of people were present at Nghi Loc Martyrs Cemetery (Nghe An) to offer incense and flowers to the souls of 98 martyrs whose remains had just been found and gathered from Laos.

Also attending the ceremony, on the side of Military Region 4 were Major General Ha Tho Binh - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4; Major General Doan Ngoc Son - Deputy Chief of Politics of Military Region 4. 98 martyrs' remains were collected during the 2017-2018 dry season in the provinces of Xieng Khouang, Vientiane, and Xay Xom Bun (Laos). Of these, 12 have names but do not have the name of the unit, hometown, or time of death. Photo: Tien Hung |

Of the 98 remains, only one remains had its identity, hometown, and unit identified, that of martyr Nguyen Dinh Quang (from Ninh Binh). Martyr Nguyen Dinh Quang died in 1971.
