According to the report of the district's Department of AgricultureTan Ky,On February 21, a heavy rain accompanied by strong winds caused nearly 200 hectares of winter corn to fall. Communes with heavy damage include Tan Long commune with over 100 hectares, Nghia Hoan commune with over 40 hectares... Estimated damage is over 1 billion VND.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Trung - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tan Ky district said: Faced with the above situation, the People's Committee of Tan Ky district has directed 5 communes with broken corn to review and summarize the damaged areas, and repair the lightly broken areas. At the same time, the People's Committee of the district has connected with a number of dairy farming units to consume the broken corn areas that cannot be repaired./.
