Due to the impact of long-term rains, combined with hydropower plant flood discharge, many agricultural areas and upstream areas of Chom Lom bridge abutment have recently suffered serious landslides. Faced with this situation, the People's Committee of Con Cuong district mobilized vehicles to transport 5,000 cubic meters of rubble, 2,000 steel cages, along with mobilizing more than 200 militia and self-defense forces and people of Lang Khe commune to actively make stone cages to build embankments at landslide sites.
