According to Mr. Nguyen Trong Duan - Chief of Nam Loc Commune Police, this morning, hundreds of people from many hamlets in the commune went together to Khe Day mountain - where Mr. Kiem clearly cut the tree to search.

From early morning, the group divided into many groups, carrying machetes to cut trees, plastic cans of drinking water... to search all the streams, creeks, and valleys around the area.

Nam Loc commune has sent police and militia forces to coordinate with local people in searching for missing people, posting leaflets at important traffic points, as well as contacting neighboring communes such as Thanh Lam, Thanh Xuan (Thanh Chuong), Nam Thuong, Nam Tan, Khanh Son (Nam Dan)... to grasp information about Mr. Kiem.

Mr. Duẩn added that on the morning of August 27, people discovered another sickle in Mr. Dung's garden at the foot of the mountain (Hamlet 7). The word "Kiem" was engraved on this sickle. People believe that this is the sickle that Mr. Kiem brought when he went up the mountain.

Connecting with the information on July 26, Mr. Kiem's ​​hat and sandals were found on the mountain right where he cut the tree, many people guessed that Mr. Kiem was no longer on the mountain, while going down the mountain he abandoned this sickle.

As of the afternoon of August 27, authorities and local people were still trying to search for Mr. Kiem both in the forest and in neighboring communes, but with no results.

As reported, at 11am on August 25, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Kiem (69 years old) in hamlet 7, Nam Loc commune went up Khe Day mountain alone to cut trees. When Mr. Kiem did not return in the evening, his family and relatives panicked and went into the forest to search for him.

At 8:00 a.m. on August 26, searchers discovered a hat and a pair of sandals belonging to Mr. Kiem at the place where he had clearly cut the tree.

It is known that Mr. Kiem's ​​family has 3 children, currently only the couple lives together, sometimes Mr. Kiem still goes to the mountain to cut brooms to sell./.
