(Baonghean.vn) – Center back Le Thanh Lam of Song Lam Nghe An was forced to leave the U22 Vietnam team after only 2 days of training due to an ankle ligament injury.

In the list of 48 players called up by coach Park Hang-seo to train in August to prepare for SEA Games 31, Song Lam Nghe An contributed 6 faces.

Specifically, the 6 promising young faces of the Nghe An team in this call-up of the U22 Vietnam team are 3 defenders Thai Ba Sang, Mai Sy Hoang, Le Thanh Lam and midfielders Dang Van Lam, Tran Ngoc Anh, Nguyen Van Viet.

Central defender Le Thanh Lam is expected a lot in this training session with a height of up to 1m81. In another development, U19 SLNA striker Tran Manh Quynh has just been called up by coach Philippe Troussier to join the Vietnam U19 team to prepare for the 2020 AFC U19 Championship finals held in Uzbekistan. The training period is from August 20 to 30 at the PVF Center.
