* Do Luong: Budget revenue in the first 6 months of the year reached 98 billion VND

In the first 6 months of 2016, the total output of grain crops in Do Luong reached nearly 66,000 tons; Production and business establishments operated stably, trade and services continued to develop strongly; focusing on urging and directing the construction of projects with an investment of 80 billion VND, clearing the ground for projects to upgrade Cau Dau dike, Song Lam Cement Factory, and N5 traffic road connecting the Southeast economic zone to Hoa Son commune. Budget revenue in the first 6 months of the year reached 98 billion VND, reaching 53.5% of the estimate.

The cultural and social fields received attention, in which the education and training work continued to be maintained, the rate of national excellent students was 21, provincial excellent students was 313, 4 more schools were inspected to meet standards; jobs were created for 1,800 people, of which 734 people were exported to work; national defense and security were strictly maintained with combat readiness, well implemented the training of armed forces; investigated and clarified all types of crimes with 36 cases, 64 subjects, discovered 13 cases, 16 subjects illegally buying, selling and storing drugs.

In the first 6 months of 2016, Nghi Loc district's production value reached 4,815 billion VND, reaching 55.26% of the year's plan. Economic growth rate compared to the same period in 2015 reached 15.17%. Winter-spring crop production was a good harvest, with output reaching 48,539 tons, an increase of 2,465 tons compared to the 2014-2015 winter-spring crop. Budget revenue reached 91,074 billion VND, equal to 58.67% of the estimate and reaching 146% compared to the same period last year.
