Quynh Luu District People's Council dismissed 2 and elected 3 additional members of the People's Committee.
(Baonghean.vn) - The People's Council of Quynh Luu district dismissed 2 members of the District People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term and elected 3 additional members of the District People's Committee at the 4th session of the 19th District People's Council, which opened on the morning of July 20.
Accordingly, the meeting passed a Resolution on the dismissal of Mr. Tran Thang Long - former member of the District Party Committee, Head of the District Police and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dinh - former Head of the District Department of Agriculture and Rural Development for the 2016-2021 term.
Mr. Ta Dinh Tuan - Head of District Police and Mr. Dao Xuan Son - Head of Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Ho The Thanh - Head of District Health Department were elected to the additional position of District People's Committee Member, term 2016 - 2021.

In terms of socio-economics, in the first 6 months of 2017, the local economic growth rate reached 7.45%. Of which, agriculture - forestry - fishery reached 1.52%, industry - construction 11.12%, services 12.97%.
Total production value reached over 4,764 billion VND, equal to 50.75% of the plan, up 6.64% over the same period. Total state budget revenue was nearly 538 billion VND.
In particular, Quynh Luu continues to promote its advantages in exploiting and raising aquatic and marine products with an output of more than 34,400 tons; deploying the construction of 7 new project ships according to Decree 67/CP, bringing the total number of ships in the district to 40.

On this occasion, the Party Committee and people of Quynh Luu district were also honored to receive the emulation flag of the Government for successfully completing the task of leading the patriotic emulation movement of Nghe An province in 2016.
On the afternoon of July 20 and the morning of July 21, the meeting will hold group discussions, question and answer sessions in the hall; and discuss and pass resolutions. According to the plan, the 4th session of the 19th Quynh Luu District People's Council will end at noon on July 21.
