The Provincial People's Council elected 2 additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2016 - 2021 term.

According to the Proposal of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Doan Hong Vu has just been mobilized and appointed by the Provincial People's Committee to hold the position of Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; and Mr. Nguyen Hai Duong has been appointed by the Provincial People's Committee to hold the position of Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs for the Provincial People's Council to elect additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2016 - 2021 term.

Based on the Proposal of the Provincial People's Committee, the meeting democratically discussed, solicited opinions on candidates and nominated personnel to finalize the list and conduct procedures to elect additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term.

Through voting and direct vote counting results at the session, the Provincial People's Council decided to pass the Resolution confirming the results of the election of additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term for Mr. Doan Hong Vu and Mr. Nguyen Hai Duong.

Previously, the Provincial People's Council reviewed the Proposal on the dismissal of the position of Provincial People's Committee Member for the 2016-2021 term of the Provincial People's Committee and decided to pass the Resolution on confirming the results of the dismissal of the position of Provincial People's Committee Member for the 2016-2021 term for Mr. Nguyen Bang Toan - former Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and Tran Ngoc Danh - former Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, now retired under the regime.

The Provincial People's Council also reviewed and voted to pass a Resolution on accepting the resignation of Mr. Lo Dinh Xuyen - former Chairman of the Veterans Association of Tuong Duong district, Provincial People's Council delegate for the 17th term, 2016-2021, due to health reasons that could not ensure the fulfillment of the duties of a people's representative.
