(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 30 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year), the Office of the Provincial People's Council led by Vice Chairwomen of the Provincial People's Council: Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Hoang Viet Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, visited the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.

He devoted and sacrificed his whole life to the cause of national liberation, fought for the cause of peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people of the world, and was honored as a national liberation hero and outstanding cultural celebrity.

President Ho Chi Minh has passed away, but his image will always live on in the mountains and rivers of Vietnam; his thoughts will always light the way for the Vietnamese revolution to go from one victory to another.

Next, officials, specialists and employees of the Provincial People's Council Office also came to offer flowers and incense at the grave of Mrs. Ha Thi Hy - President Ho Chi Minh's grandmother; offer flowers and incense at the grave of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - President Ho Chi Minh's mother; offer flowers and incense at the grave of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Xin - President Ho Chi Minh's younger brother.

On the same morning, officers, specialists of the Office, and committees of the Provincial People's Council planted trees at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, Nam Giang commune, Nam Dan.

The leaders of the Provincial People's Council and the working delegation planted 10 magnolia trees at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan.

Speaking at the tree planting ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hien affirmed: Tree planting has practical, long-term significance and humanistic value. In the future, the Provincial People's Council will organize tree planting campaigns to add to the beauty and dignity of this sacred place.

At the same time, Comrade Cao Thi Hien also requested relevant levels, branches, units and all people in the province to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws on forest protection and development; the directions of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee on the plan to plant trees, plant forests and protect forests in 2020.
