The Provincial People's Council will pass a resolution to merge blocks, hamlets, communes and districts at the next session.

Five resolutions related to mergers and organizational restructuring will be passed.

On the morning of April 25, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a regular meeting in April 2019 to listen to and give opinions on supplementing the list of resolutions for the Provincial People's Council in 2019 and the proposed supervision content of the Provincial People's Council in 2020.

Accordingly, in addition to the 36 contents proposed by the Provincial People's Committee to draft a resolution for 2019 to submit to the Provincial People's Council for approval, which were agreed upon by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council at the regular meeting in March 2019, at this meeting, the Provincial People's Committee continued to submit 10 additional proposals to draft a resolution for 2019. Including 5 individual resolutions and 5 legal normative resolutions.

5 individual resolutions:

- Resolution on approving the project to merge blocks, hamlets and villages.

- Resolution on approving the Project on rearranging administrative units at district and commune levels.

- Resolution on approving the Project on allocating funds to non-professional workers in communes, hamlets, blocks and villages.

- Resolution on assigning civil servant positions in state administrative agencies and organizations of Nghe An province in 2020.

- Resolution on approving the total number of employees and contract workers in public service units that have not yet ensured regular expenditures and organized the Association in 2020.

Urge the settlement of voters' petitions

The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council also listened to and commented on the content of the Provincial People's Council's supervision proposal in 2020.

Based on 21 proposed contents of the Committees, Groups and delegates of the Provincial People's Council, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council has selected the supervision content of the Provincial People's Council next year as the implementation of a number of resolutions of the Provincial People's Council on mechanisms and policies for investment in socio-economic development in the province.

In the remaining time, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council evaluated the activities of April and deployed key tasks for May 2019.

Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Xuan Son requested the Committees and Office of the Provincial People's Council to closely coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee and departments and branches to adjust the submission of resolution-making contents to suit the time of each session of the year; in which, priority is given to resolutions related to the implementation of the Central Resolution (term XII) to submit, approve and implement.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also emphasized a number of key tasks in May 2019. Specifically, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council continued to direct and urge the implementation of the Provincial People's Council's supervision plan on quality budget collection in the province; along with that, focusing on completing the survey plan on citizen reception, handling of complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections of citizens in the province.

The Standing Committee, Committees and Office of the Provincial People's Council also need to proactively work with the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and relevant agencies to prepare contents for the mid-year session of the Provincial People's Council according to regulations; pay attention to monitoring and urging the implementation of the Provincial People's Council Resolutions and resolving recommendations, reflections, complaints and denunciations of voters and people in the province.
