Provincial People's Council planted 10 magnolia trees at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 2 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year 2017), in response to the "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho", comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and staff, experts of the Office, and committees of the Provincial People's Council came to offer flowers, incense, and organize the first tree planting ceremony of Spring at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, mother of President Ho Chi Minh in Dong Tranh mountain, Nam Giang commune, Nam Dan district.
In front of the tomb of Mrs. Ha Thi Hy - Uncle Ho's grandmother and Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - his mother, comrade Hoang Viet Duong and the staff, experts of the Office and the provincial People's Council's committees respectfully bowed, offered flowers, incense, expressed deep gratitude and appreciation; respectfully hoping that the ancestors would bless the people and the country of Vietnam, and for Nghe An to always be prosperous, warm, and happy.
Before the souls of the elders, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council promised to work with all their might to be worthy of being the elected representative body, representing the will and aspirations of the people, striving for the goal of "rich people, strong country, democracy, equality, civilization". The delegation also came to offer flowers and incense at the tomb of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Xin - Uncle Ho's younger brother.

After offering flowers and incense, the leaders of the Provincial People's Council and the working delegation planted 10 magnolia trees at the tomb of Ms. Hoang Thi Loan with the intention of strongly responding to the Tet tree planting movement initiated by Uncle Ho, making the country greener and cleaner. This is an annual activity carried out by the Office and committees of the Provincial People's Council at the beginning of Spring.
