Tan Mai Ward Party Committee was established on the basis of merging 3 old administrative units: Quynh Di Ward, Quynh Lap Commune and Quynh Loc Commune with a natural area of ​​51.61km2², population size 33,894 people. Tan Mai ward Party Committee currently has 56 affiliated party organizations, with 1,154 party members.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, despite many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee, government and people of Tan Mai ward have closely followed the Resolution of the Party Congress, the leadership and direction of superiors, promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, and efforts, and achieved many important and comprehensive results with many outstanding marks.

Accordingly, the economy in the whole ward has shifted in the right direction; maintaining a double-digit economic growth rate; the total product value by 2025 is estimated at 3,735.7 billion VND, an increase of more than 2.04 times compared to 2020. The economy maintains high growth in both scale and speed. The average added value per capita is expected to reach 82.29 million VND by 2025, achieving the target set by the resolution; people's lives have been improved. The urban appearance has improved a lot; the economic and social infrastructure has been gradually improved.

Along with that, the total State budget revenue assigned for the period 2021 - 2025 is estimated at 334.12 billion VND; managed and used in accordance with regulations, focusing on key socio-economic development goals. The total social investment capital for the period 2020 - 2025 reached more than 1,085 billion VND.

During the past term, the Party Committee and the Government have always paid attention to directing, supporting, and removing difficulties and obstacles in the production and business activities of enterprises. There are currently 92 operating enterprises, 6 cooperatives, and 1 craft village.

The cultural and social fields have had many positive changes, people's lives have been improved; the poverty rate has decreased rapidly, social security has been regularly concerned; the ward has mobilized over 2.5 billion VND to support the construction and repair of houses for poor households and policy families.

Regarding national defense and security, the ward has maintained political stability and ensured social order and safety. The locality has been recognized as a "drug-free area", a bright spot in the movement "All people protect national security". To realize the set goals, Tan Mai Ward Party Committee sets out 4 key tasks, 3 strategic breakthroughs and a series of key solutions demonstrating the long-term vision, aspiration for innovation and creativity of the Ward Party Committee in the 2025-2030 term.

Accordingly, the key task that the ward has identified as top priority is to continue to create clear changes in the work of building a comprehensive, clean and strong Party and political system. Along with that, it is necessary to focus on perfecting a streamlined organizational apparatus, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, building a team of cadres with political mettle, moral qualities and capacity equal to the new tasks; resolutely preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity, maintaining the people's trust in Party committees and local authorities at all levels.

In the economic field, Tan Mai ward will coordinate with the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board to focus on exploiting and maximizing the advantages of industrial parks in the area, such as Dong Hoi Industrial Park, Hoang Mai I Industrial Park, Quynh Loc Industrial Cluster, to attract investment projects. Speed ​​up the progress of projects to build inland waterway ports combined with concentrated seafood preservation and processing areas in Quynh Loc.
