Rape of biological child and stepchild of wife, sentenced to 30 years in prison

The People's Court of Kien Giang province has just tried and sentenced defendant Nguyen Ngoc An (38 years old), residing in Tan Thanh commune, Tan Hiep district, to a total of 30 years in prison for two crimes of rape and child rape.

At the trial, Nguyen Ngoc An confessed that from the beginning of 2014 to August 31, 2016, he had repeatedly threatened, used force to coerce, and abused his wife's stepdaughter and his own daughter.

According to the indictment, defendant An lived with NTKB as husband and wife but did not register their marriage. Defendant An and Ms. B. lived together with 4 children, including a daughter of Ms. B.
