President Ho Chi Minh's example of setting an example is very rich, vivid, broad, specific, and consistent in all thoughts, actions, words, and deeds from small to large, crystallizing into the ideological, moral, and stylistic values of Ho Chi Minh. For important matters related to the historical destiny of the nation, Ho Chi Minh said he would do and would do it.

President Ho Chi Minh, national liberation hero, outstanding cultural figure, great intellect, great man, great courage, beloved leader of our nation! He has been gone for half a century, but his ideology, morality, style, noble and great career he left for our Party, our compatriots, our nation, our people are extremely great, precious, and will last forever.

One of the spiritual values and material strength of President Ho Chi Minh that lives forever in the minds and lives of the current and future generations of cadres, party members, and people is his shining example of setting an example. He sacrificed and devoted his entire life to the people and the country, without any worries or personal calculations until the moment he left this world.

Speaking of President Ho Chi Minh's example, we can all perceive and learn from him through stories about Ho Chi Minh; through studying his history and activities; through in-depth research on his ideological, moral, and style values, which are elevated to the height and depth of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, theory, morality, and style. However, President Ho Chi Minh's example can be summarized in the following main points:

A pioneering role model, taking responsibility for oneself regardless of hardships and dangers

Right from the early years of the 20th century, the patriotic young man Nguyen Tat Thanh, 21 years old, witnessed the nation and his compatriots being brutally oppressed by feudal colonialists, living in agony and pain as slaves, and took responsibility for himself to go out and find a way to save the country, bringing "freedom to his compatriots, independence to the Fatherland".

In the context of the country being tragically immersed in slavery, with nothing but empty hands, that young man took responsibility for himself, accepting the commitment to plunge into the stormy whirlpool of imperialism that was raging in the world to find a way to save the country and save the people.

A historic decision to accept countless challenges, the patriotic young man Nguyen Tat Thanh had only one desire, one strong belief that his people, his Fatherland must live independently, freely, and happily like other peoples in the world. Having faith, having aspirations, but Nguyen Tat Thanh, Nguyen Ai Quoc, Ho Chi Minh were the crystallization of the will, spirit, dignity, personality, and tradition of peoples who dared to stand up, find a way, and lead the whole nation to liberate itself.

Throughout his journey of several decades traveling around the world to find a way to save the country and his entire life leading the Vietnamese revolution, Ho Chi Minh's example helped him overcome countless challenges, imprisonment, and defeat the most evil, vicious, and brutal enemies on the planet. In fact, President Ho Chi Minh's vivid example is a profound lesson, the first lesson he taught our cadres, party members, and people to be proactive, self-aware, pioneering, exemplary, not afraid of difficulties, hardships, and daring to sacrifice for the noble cause of the nation.

President Ho Chi Minh pointed out that cadres and party members must set an example in all tasks, from small to large. He often reminded, "Party members go first, the country follows". Leading by example, daring to think, daring to do, daring to rush into difficult places so that the masses believe and follow is the quality, personality, and spirit of cadres and party members. President Ho Chi Minh required cadres and party members to put aside individualism, not to calculate, to seek private interests, and to always put the common interests of the people, the country, and the nation first and foremost. That is the basis, the starting point for the awareness of daring to sacrifice and strive, the pioneering and exemplary nature of cadres and party members at any time.

The example of President Ho Chi Minh's words and actions

President Ho Chi Minh believed that making a revolution is to replace the old, bad social regime and build a new, better, more civilized, and more progressive social regime.

Throughout his life, he always kept in mind the will to make our people, our compatriots, our Fatherland, our nation escape from poverty and backwardness, everyone is prosperous, free, happy, everyone can study; our country is increasingly rich and strong, standing shoulder to shoulder with progressive brother countries in the world. Realizing that ideal, Ho Chi Minh devoted his whole life from his youth until his death, accepting the commitment with many challenges, with the most cunning, brutal, aggressive enemies of the era and won gloriously.

From a country that had been under colonial rule for nearly a hundred years, Ho Chi Minh led our Party and our people to successfully carry out the August Revolution in 1945, establishing the first worker-peasant state in Southeast Asia - an aspiration that he had always wished for. The August Revolution in 1945 succeeded, but the country had to face countless difficulties and challenges, internal and external enemies, famine, illiteracy, and a "life-threatening" situation, but with creativity and a desire for independence and freedom, Ho Chi Minh led our Party and people to overcome everything to fight and win to maintain the independence of the newly established young state.

Speaking and doing are the spirit, soul, and example of Ho Chi Minh. The Democratic Republic of Vietnam had just been established in 1945, in 1946 the French colonialists returned to take over our country with all the ambition of the old colonialist leader. President Ho Chi Minh declared that we would never lose our country, our people's resistance against the French colonialists would definitely win, the enemy would definitely lose. With the will and determination of a great intellect, great man, and great courage, President Ho Chi Minh led our Party and our people to conduct a sacred 9-year resistance war, forcing the French colonialists to a humiliating defeat, to withdraw from our country with the historic Dien Bien Phu Campaign on May 7, 1954.

Next, neo-colonialism, led by the US imperialists with strong soldiers, strong generals, wealth like water, modern weapons, brutality, inhumanity, aggressively wanted to replace the French colonialists to oppress, enslave and rob our country. Knowing the enemy, knowing ourselves, Ho Chi Minh resolutely called on all our people to fight the enemy, refusing to submit to any plots, tricks, and forces of the enemy, determined to fight until complete victory. Ho Chi Minh led our entire Party and people to conduct a creative people's war, using "water" to extinguish "fire", and in the end, the US imperialists failed, our people won, the Fatherland was unified and moved towards socialism, today continuing to innovate, develop, integrate with the modern world, bringing our country to stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's great powers.

Ho Chi Minh said that when it came to the great things that were related to the historical destiny of the nation, he would do them. He said that Vietnam had the right to independence and freedom; that our people’s resistance against French colonialism would definitely be victorious; that in the war against American imperialism, we would definitely win, the enemy would definitely lose; that by defeating the American invaders, we would rebuild our country to be more dignified and beautiful… Ho Chi Minh had successfully fulfilled all of his wishes. He had done all of the great things he had said.

Not only big things, even very small, specific things that seem to be few people pay attention to in daily life, Ho Chi Minh said and did, did first, did well for cadres and party members to follow. To save the famine in 1945, he called on everyone to set up a "famine relief rice jar", he did that first and regularly. Ho Chi Minh called for increased production and savings, he picked up a hoe to grow vegetables, and gave vegetables to the kitchen. He practiced saving time, saving supplies, saving costs so as not to waste public money...

Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, clearly his example of words and actions is an extremely great, practical, useful, creative and necessary lesson for each of us in our daily lives.

Ho Chi Minh's example of diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality and selflessness

From the time he was a patriotic young man working abroad to when he became a politician and leader of the nation, President Ho Chi Minh always maintained the style of a great cultural figure at the height of intelligence and the peak of personality: diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality.

Ho Chi Minh believed that hard work and creativity are the nature and noble value of human beings. He determined that labor in all forms, whether manual or intellectual, has true value to society and to oneself. Hard work, creativity, and patient labor all help make human life meaningful. Determining the true goal and honest labor, Ho Chi Minh accepted to do any useful work. To achieve the goal of finding a way to save the country, Ho Chi Minh accepted to do all necessary jobs such as kitchen assistant, stove fan, dishwasher, waiter, newspaper seller, photo developer... He took advantage of every possible time to learn and use up to a dozen foreign languages to help with research to find a way to save the country. In life, Ho Chi Minh saved everything with the motto of using what is necessary, not using what is not, using according to the current conditions, not wasting. He believed that saving does not mean being stingy, not daring to spend. That would ruin things. On the contrary, spending and overspending while our compatriots and soldiers are still poor and in need, and yet spending lavishly, extravagantly, and ostentatiously is against revolutionary ethics.

Along with diligence, thrift, integrity, and uprightness, Ho Chi Minh was a model of integrity, impartiality, and selflessness. He repeatedly reminded cadres and party members to respect public property and not to appropriate public property for private gain. According to him, corruption and waste are the most serious crimes, the most vile and despicable, and are thefts from the people. Corruption and appropriation of public property for private gain are individualism, an unacceptable internal enemy.

In daily life, Ho Chi Minh was a shining example of simplicity, integrity, and purity. Throughout his life, he only cared about the people and the country. His simplicity stemmed from nobility, exuding noble values, sublimating the noble qualities of a great cultural figure, and was a shining example for all classes of people to follow.

Ho Chi Minh's example of scientific, effective and practical working style

President Ho Chi Minh is a great leader of the nation and the Vietnamese people. He had extremely rich, concrete, and practical experiences in life, in all fields, situations, circumstances, and times. That helped Ho Chi Minh have a very scientific way of thinking and acting, combining theory with reality, always not straying from the revolutionary goals and practicality and efficiency in work. Ho Chi Minh always taught cadres and party members to stick to reality, to understand life, to start from life and return to life.

He pointed out that studying and propagating must be specific and practical, not empty, verbose, long-winded, or without clear goals and objectives. All work must have a clear plan, goals, measures, steps, and specific and practical results must be checked and evaluated. He wrote the work "Reforming the way of working" to train and educate cadres and party members. He required scientific work that was not far from reality, that was planned, specific, and accurate, that directives and resolutions must be organized and directed for implementation, and that they must be urged, checked, evaluated, summarized, and lessons learned.

Despite the busy work of a President, in war as well as peace, Ho Chi Minh did not miss anything and always visited and encouraged cadres, soldiers, workers, and farmers with achievements; reminded and accurately criticized cadres, party members, and localities with errors and weaknesses. The scientific, specific, precise, and effective lifestyle and work style is a shining example of President Ho Chi Minh.

Ho Chi Minh's example of being close to the people, loving the people, and for the people

A foreign poet once commented on Ho Chi Minh as a soldier, a teacher, a poet, a communist, a leader because Ho Chi Minh is a citizen, Ho Chi Minh is from the people.

Since his youth, Ho Chi Minh had a deep understanding, sympathy and shared with the lives of the people around him. He sought a way to save the country, traveled around the world, lived with people of all classes, and understood the suffering of the working people. He drew an immortal conclusion that on this earth, billions of people, regardless of skin color, race, or religion, there are only two types of people: the oppressors and the oppressed. Ho Chi Minh was indignant at this division, strongly condemned the oppressors, and he sided with the oppressed, defended them, and resolutely fought against the oppressors.

For the people in general, the Vietnamese people in particular, Ho Chi Minh always believed in their abilities, seeing in the people the endless source of strength of history. At the same time, Ho Chi Minh always respected, loved, and was close to them. He taught cadres and party members to be close to the people, love the people, understand the people, learn from the people, and wholeheartedly serve the people. He required cadres from the Central to the village level to truly be servants of the people, not to act like revolutionary officials, giving favors to the people.

Ho Chi Minh not only cared about and was close to the people, but he also understood, shared, sympathized and wholeheartedly served all classes of people. He had loving, specific and practical advice for the elderly, doctors, engineers, teachers, soldiers, officers, ethnic groups and religions everywhere. Therefore, he was always loved and closely attached to by all classes of people across the country like a father, brother, relative, uncle and grandfather who were extremely respected in their families./.
