(Baonghean.vn) - To draw goalless with Indonesia in a one-sided match, the Vietnamese team needs to win the final match to be able to qualify for the semi-finals.

In the match against Malaysia in the second round of Group B, the Vietnamese team affirmed their superiority. Coach Park's students delighted the fans with many beautiful attacking arrangements. Entering the match against Indonesia, the red team had a comfortable psychological momentum.

However, Coach Park Hang-seo was not complacent as he still fielded the same lineup as the match against Malaysia. Important players such as Que Ngoc Hai, Quang Hai, Hoang Duc, Tuan Anh, and Cong Phuong were still on the field from the start.

With such a formation, after the opening whistle was blown, the Vietnamese players took the initiative to play high pressing. Strikers Cong Phuong, Phan Van Duc and Quang Hai actively competed for the ball from the opponent's side of the field. This way of playing caused a lot of confusion for the Indonesian players.

In the first minutes, Mr. Park’s students took the initiative to control the ball. With short, unpredictable combinations, the white team’s defense had to struggle to defend.

Interspersed with the central attacks were the varied combinations on the left flank, with Hong Duy, Van Duc and Tuan Anh participating. These three players were all technically excellent, so they put Ernando's goal in a state of alarm many times. And in one of the attacks on the right flank, Tuan Anh passed the ball to Hong Duy. But the HAGL defender's shot hit an opposing player and flew out.

In the next minute, the Vietnamese team increased the tempo of their attacks, with many quick and highly cohesive combinations. To counter this, the Indonesian players did not hesitate to commit fouls, in order to break up the stormy attacks of the yellow star warriors.

Not hiding their ambition to draw with Vietnam, the white-shirted players actively played a defensive game with a large number of players. The ball was almost always on the Indonesian side of the field. This caused the red-shirted players to launch many shots towards Ernando's goal.

Center backs like Que Ngoc Hai were almost present in the opponent's half throughout the first half, helping to pass the ball to their teammates. In the 33rd minute of the match, it seemed like the ball was in Ernando's goal when Cong Phuong had a powerful shot from close range, but luck did not smile on the HAGL striker.

In the first half, the Vietnamese team created many chances in front of the opponent's goal, however, the final passes still lacked luck. Therefore, the two teams entered the locker room without either side having a goal to lead.

In the second half, the Vietnamese team continued to put pressure on their opponents, the red team created many opportunities but could not score. Even though Mr. Park made many new changes, the final score was still 0-0.

With this draw, the Vietnamese team has 7 points. In the final match, Coach Park Hang-seo's students must beat Cambodia to be able to decide their ticket to the semi-finals.
