The pitiful situation of two orphaned sisters

They are Nguyen Thi Nhan (born in 2004) and Nguyen Dang Phuc (born in 2007) in Hamlet 8, Nhan Son Commune (Do Luong). In 2007, when Nhan was only 3 years old and Phuc was not long after being born, their father passed away in a traffic accident. Due to their poor family background, in 2013, their mother had to travel to the South to work as a factory worker to support her and her siblings' education. But the pain was compounded for the two children when at the end of March, their mother suddenly passed away due to heart disease.

Orphaned by both parents, the two children live with their grandparents who are over 70 years old. Early in the morning, Nhan wakes up early to take his brother to school before going to class. During class, Nhan is very obedient and hard-working. Understanding his situation, the teachers at Nhan Son Secondary School also care for him, encourage him, and help him overcome his situation to study well.

When asked what his dream was, Nhan choked up: "Right now, I want to have enough money to support my younger brother. In the future, I want to become a doctor to save the lives of people with illnesses like my mother."

These days, the two sisters Nguyen Thi Nhan - Nguyen Dang Phuc also received a lot of sharing and help from teachers, friends, and neighbors.
