Completed the national cycling race of Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup 2021 in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - The 8th stage of the 40km team time trial of the 33rd National Cycling Championship 2021 held in Cua Lo town, Nghe An province has just been completed with fierce competition from the racing teams. The victory belonged to the Bike Life Dong Nai team.
On the morning of April 14, at Binh Minh Square, Cua Lo Town, Nghe An Province, the award ceremony of stage 7 and the opening ceremony took place, organizing the competition of stage 8 of the 33rd National Cycling Tournament for the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup 2021, a 40km team time trial race.

The race brings together 15 strong racing teams from across the country. Athletes will compete in 22 stages, with a total route of 2,450 km, passing through the provinces of Cao Bang, Lang Son, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Lam Dong, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City.
With favorable weather conditions, the racers performed very well in this 8th stage with intense races. As a result, the Bike Life Dong Nai team finished first with a time of 47 minutes and 23 seconds, the Ho Chi Minh City Vinama team finished second with a time of 47 minutes and 29 seconds, and the Domesco Dong Thap Pharmacy team finished third with a time of 48 minutes and 40 seconds.

After finishing stage 8, the National Cycling Tournament for the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup will continue with stage 9 on April 15 from Nghe An to Quang Binh with a length of 199km. The tournament is expected to end on April 30 with the final destination in Ho Chi Minh City.
With the message "The country is united - The belief in victory", the 33rd National Cycling Tournament for the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup 2021 contributes to improving the professional level of Vietnamese sports cycling and educating and propagating the revolutionary tradition of the nation to the young generation. The tournament is also an opportunity for national athletes and national youth teams to prepare forSEA Games 31will be held in Vietnam.

The tournament has a record high total prize money, up to nearly 2 billion VND. Of which, the racer who wins the Yellow Jersey will receive a prize of 200 million VND, the team that wins the Championship Cup will receive a prize of 100 million VND. The racer who wins the stage will also receive a high prize of up to 20 million VND.
