Activities to support poor students to overcome difficulties
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 30, some localities in the province organized activities to give charity houses and gifts to poor students who excel in their studies and students in difficult circumstances.

Kiet's family is poor and extremely difficult. His mother left home without contact. Not long after, his father passed away, leaving behind three siblings and his grandmother, who is over 74 years old. The whole family lives in a makeshift house without a door. Overcoming his circumstances, Kiet tried to study hard, be obedient, polite and had good academic results.
Faced with such difficult circumstances, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union started building a "red scarf house" for Tran The Kiet with a value of 50 million VND, with a usable area of nearly 60 m2.2. Of which, the Provincial Youth Union - Provincial Young Pioneer Council supported 50 million VND, the rest was from Tam Hop commune youth union members, brothers who helped the family with working days to complete the house.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union presented a flock of chickens worth 5 million VND, and the school's Youth Union also presented 4 warm coats to the 4 grandmothers and grandchildren.
* Ky Son Primary School (Tan Ky)and more than 50 youth union members in the commune came to help Doan Van Tuan, in hamlet 6 Ky Minh, Ky Son commune, clean his house and well to ensure his water source. At the same time, a benefactor gave him a gas stove and gas tank worth more than 1 million VND.![]() |

Doan Van Tuan's situation is particularly difficult. His parents sent him to his grandmother to work far away when he was young, but there has been no news since. Grandmother and grandchild lived on vegetables and porridge in a dilapidated house. Now his grandmother has passed away, leaving him alone in a small house on a hill.
Faced with her situation, recently many benefactors have visited, given gifts to encourage, comfort, and help her reduce her difficulties and gradually stabilize her life.
* In Nghia Dan district,Some benefactors came to give gifts to Ha Thi Ngoc Mai, Pham Thi Thuy My, - Students of Nghia Hoi Secondary School and Ha Van Nghia - Student of 1/5 High School (Nghia Dan). Each gift includes 500 thousand VND, 20 kg of rice, warm clothes and some other necessities. These are children with difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to achieve high academic achievements.
