Practical activities for the poor in Tan Ky, Con Cuong

* Red Cross Society, Tan Ky District Youth UnionCoordinated with Nghe An Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center to organize the first voluntary blood donation festival of 2019.

With the message "donate blood - share love", the voluntary blood donation program attracted more than 900 participants, including officials, civil servants, public employees and people from 22 communes and towns in the area.

This is an annual humanitarian activity organized by Tan Ky district to help patients and extend the circle of compassion. At the festival, 343 units of qualified blood were received by Nghe An Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center.

* Fatherland Front of Binh Chuan commune (Con Cuong)presented 4.5 million VND from benefactors to the family of Mr. Lo Van Hung, Tung Poong village, Binh Chuan commune. Mr. Hung had a child who died from drowning, his family was classified as a particularly poor household, his wife left him with two small children.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper: At 5:30 p.m. on April 9, Mr. Hung's son and a friend invited each other to go to Na Co dam (in Binh Chuan commune) to bathe. After bathing, both of them returned home, but Mr. Hung's son went back to bathe and drowned.

To share the loss with Mr. Lo Van Hung's family, benefactors have donated 8 million VND to support his family so far in 2 rounds.
