Third grader dies after suddenly collapsing at school
A third grade student in Thu Duc district, Ho Chi Minh City suddenly fainted in the school yard and died after being taken to Children's Hospital 2.
Thu Duc District Police, Ho Chi Minh City, said on October 5 that they are coordinating with relevant agencies to investigate the death of Nguyen Tan D. (born 2009) - a third grade student at Luong The Vinh Primary School (Binh Tho Ward, Thu Duc District).

According to initial information, at lunchtime that same day, the teacher discovered D. passed out lying in the middle of the school yard. Immediately, the school medical staff provided first aid and transferred him to Thu Duc Regional General Hospital for emergency treatment.
D. was then transferred to Children's Hospital 2 for further treatment, but died in the evening.
Upon receiving the report, Thu Duc District Police coordinated with relevant units to organize a crime scene investigation, autopsy, and investigation to clarify the incident.
Working with the police, D.'s family said that recently, he had been showing unusual symptoms and had fainted several times.
