The Department of Education and Training has just announced the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025. According to the plan of the Department of Education and Training, Nghe An students will start the Tet holiday from January 25.
Accordingly, for officials and civil servants of the Department of Education and Training, Department of Education and Training of districts, cities and towns,Lunar New Year Holiday Schedule, from January 25, 2025 to February 2, 2025 (ie December 26, year of the Dragon to January 5, year of the Snake).
For kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools, high schools, vocational education - continuing education centers; IT, Foreign Language, Life Skills centers, the Lunar New Year holiday schedule is from January 23, 2025 to February 2, 2025 (ie December 24, Giap Thin year to January 5, At Ty year).
Thus, with this Tet holiday schedule, Nghe An students will have 11 days off.

Regarding the Tet holiday plan, the Department of Education and Training requires units and schools to strictly implement Directive No. 40-CT/TW, dated December 11, 2024 of the Secretariat on organizing the Tet holiday in 2025; Directive No. 45/CT-TTg dated December 18, 2024 of the Prime Minister on strengthening measures to ensure a joyful, healthy, safe, economical Tet holiday in 2025, and directive documents of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Provincial People's Committee and the Nghe An Education and Training sector.
In order for students to have a warm Tet, schools also need to base on actual conditions to mobilize social resources, organize visits and encourage students from families with preferential policies, orphans, and homeless students; retired officials, teachers, and employees in difficult circumstances; officials, teachers, and students with relatives on duty in the sea, islands, and borders of the Fatherland to have conditions to enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet in a healthy, safe, and economical way.

Closely coordinate with Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Fronts and local organizations and unions to promote propaganda, management, education, and organization for students to enjoy a healthy Spring Festival, practice a civilized and elegant lifestyle, maintain order, social safety, traffic safety; do not participate in racing, cheer for illegal racing...; Focus on disseminating, thoroughly understanding and requiring cadres, teachers, employees, students and parents to strictly implement Directive 31/CT-TTg dated December 21, 2025 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the work of ensuring order and traffic safety for school-age children in the new situation.
In particular, it is strictly forbidden to buy, sell, store, or manufacture fireworks (buy raw materials online and then arbitrarily manufacture fireworks), and to illegally use weapons, explosives, support tools, and fireworks among youth, teenagers, and students.

Before and after Tet, there should be solutions to preventdropoutafter Tet. Strengthen solutions to mobilize students to go to school, maintain student attendance rate. Review students at risk of dropping out, classify to have appropriate measures for each student.
For poor and disadvantaged students, it is necessary to mobilize resources to help and support them promptly during Tet; students must not be allowed to drop out of school due to difficult circumstances.
