For other levels, the school calendar will be delayed by 1 to 2 weeks. In particular, secondary school students will start returning to school from Monday, March 9, 2020.

Before allowing students to return to school, the Department of Education and Training also requires schools to strengthen disease prevention and control. In addition, it is necessary to clean and disinfect school grounds, classrooms, and frequently touched objects such as stair handrails, doorknobs, tables, chairs, laboratory equipment, teaching aids, etc., to ensure prevention of infection from the environment, classrooms, and facilities used by teachers and students for teaching and learning;

In addition, it is necessary to arrange enough clean water systems with soap for hand washing; prepare enough hand sanitizer in areas where students, teachers and staff frequently pass by; remind students, teachers and staff to regularly wash their hands before entering and leaving classrooms, libraries, laboratories, cafeterias, toilets, etc.

For families, before students go to school, families check their children's body temperature (ensure they only go to school when they are in normal health); do not let children go to school when they show signs of abnormal health;

For educational institutions that provide student pick-up and drop-off services by car, after each trip, the bus company must disinfect the car door handles, handrails, seats, windows, and floors, strictly implementing regulations on hygiene and safety, and disinfection before, during, and after picking up and dropping off students. For students who go to school by themselves or are picked up and dropped off by their families, the family is responsible for managing and instructing students on disease prevention and control measures on the way from home to school and from school home.

During the time the epidemic has not ended, schools will not organize activities that gather a large number of students, only organize educational activities within the scope of each classroom.

At the same time, educational institutions must strictly control people entering and leaving school premises (including students, teachers and staff); carry out handover and receipt of children and students (if any) at the school gate; take appropriate measures to prevent people with abnormal health symptoms from entering the school.

At the end of each class, the school maintains cleaning and disinfecting classrooms according to regulations; checks and replenishes disinfectant, soap and necessary supplies for the next class.
