Nguyen Thu Trang - Secretary of the Youth Union of Class 11C4 said that charity work has long been an annual activity of teachers and students of Phan Boi Chau High School. Many members of the class have actively participated in charity programs of charity groups and clubs inside and outside the school.

This is the first time the entire 11C4 Youth Union has come up with a plan and joined hands to call on everyone to donate books to build a bookshelf for the people in Thuy Village.

Many books were donated such as textbooks, reference books, story books, newspapers...

The choice of placing the bookcase in the cultural house of Thon Thuy hamlet, Thanh Linh commune (Thanh Chuong) came from the suggestion of Mr. Le Van Kien - the homeroom teacher of class 11C4. Many times passing through Thon Thuy hamlet, Mr. Kien realized that the lives of the people still faced many difficulties. Although there was a cultural house, there were no books and newspapers to serve the learning and entertainment needs of the people, especially the students. When he heard the idea of the students, he was very supportive and suggested a location for the bookcase.

To call on everyone to join hands to support books and newspapers, the class members are divided into many groups with specific tasks. The groups will be assigned to call for support on social networking sites, go to each class inside and outside the school as well as campaign in the neighborhood, or be assigned to stay in class to receive books and newspapers.

Donated books will be sorted and boxed for storage.

In addition to used textbooks, storybooks, and life skills books, the program also received many new books with original glossy paper. All donated books will be classified and packed into cardboard boxes for preservation, waiting to be delivered to Thon Thuy hamlet.

According to the plan, the program will last from October 17 to November 1. However, due to the widespread and enthusiastic support of everyone, class 11C4 has decided to extend the program until November 13./.
