Provincial Veterans Business Association Congress for the 2022 - 2027 term
(Baonghean.vn) - Not only developing production and business, the Association's enterprises also actively contribute to charity and social security activities, pay attention to environmental protection measures, and invest in contributing to the development of the rural industrial sector.
On the morning of November 18, the Nghe An Provincial Veterans Entrepreneurs Association held a Congress for the 2022-2027 term. Attending the Congress were representatives of the Vietnam Provincial Veterans Entrepreneurs Association; Veterans Entrepreneurs Associations of some neighboring provinces; representatives of some relevant agencies, departments, units and leaders of member companies and enterprises.
During the 2017 - 2022 term, although businesses owned by veterans faced many difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, with their will and flexible solutions, the members maintained production and business, bringing the total revenue in 5 years to nearly 24,000 billion VND, contributing 3,539.8 billion VND to the State budget.
In addition, the enterprises of the Provincial Veterans Business Associationalso creates regular jobs for 5,000 - 6,000 workers, seasonal jobs for 9,000 - 10,000 people.

Term 2017 - 2022, Provincial Veteran Entrepreneurs AssociationNghe An admitted 96 more members, established 1 more excellent production and business club; merged and renamed 1 grassroots association into the Veteran Entrepreneurs Club of Excellent Production and Business, bringing the total number of members to 246, operating in 12 grassroots organizations. The grassroots organizations and associations regularly connect, exchange and learn production and business experiences.

The Congress affirmed that the Veteran Entrepreneurs Association always urges its members to strictly comply with the Party's policies, the State's policies, the ministries' policies and the province's policies related to business activities to its members through training, fostering, and dissemination of knowledge and experience to help members promptly access official information. Recently, the association has also coordinated with the Provincial Investment and Tourism Promotion Center to open 4 business management training courses for nearly 400 business officials to improve their business management capacity.
Besides business, members of the Business AssociationVeterans in the province also actively participate in charity and social security activities. Over the past 5 years, member enterprises have mobilized more than 37 billion VND for social charity work. Of which, 12 billion 118 million VND was given to the poor every year; more than 12 billion VND was donated to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic; 53 houses of gratitude worth nearly 3 billion VND were donated; 2 classrooms and teaching equipment for the kindergarten in Pha Lom village, Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district worth 1.9 billion VND...

Other charitable activities such as visiting and giving gifts on War Invalids and Martyrs Day, supporting Truong Bon Historical Site, supporting the Education Promotion Fund and building works of gratitude and especially difficult circumstances with a total cost of more than 4 billion VND.
At the Congress, the Provincial Veteran Entrepreneurs Associationdetermined, members will always promote the nature and tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" solidarity, promote the spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening to overcome difficulties, maintain stability and develop production and business to adapt to new conditions. Closely follow the economic development policies of the province and policies related to enterprises, closely follow market developments, proactively develop production and business programs and plans; strictly comply with the law, improve product quality to meet market demand.
On this occasion, through the Provincial Veteran Entrepreneurs Association, the Vietnam Veteran Entrepreneurs Association and individuals presented 4 gratitude houses to poor households in Nghe An, including 2 houses for people in the flood-hit Ky Son area.

At the Congress, two individuals were awarded the Second and Third Class Labor Medals. Business AssociationThe provincial veterans were honored to receive the Emulation Flag of the People's Committee of Nghe An province; the Chairman of the People's Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 groups and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in production and business. The Vietnam Veterans Entrepreneurs Association awarded collectives and individuals of the Nghe An Veterans Entrepreneurs Association. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province also awarded Certificates of Merit to the Association.
The Congress has completed the Executive Committee of the Business Association.Veterans Association consists of 28 members; elected Executive Board of 3 people. Mr. Pham Dinh Hanh - Director of Hoa Hiep Company Limited was re-elected as Chairman of the Business AssociationNghe An province veterans for the 2022 - 2027 term.
