Nghe An Province Young Entrepreneurs Association organizes 'Tet for the Poor 2024' in Ky Son
(Baonghean.vn) - Hundreds of meaningful gifts with a total value of 120 million VND were presented by the Nghe An Province Young Entrepreneurs Association to people in Na Ngoi Commune, Ky Son District in the program "Tet for the Poor 2024" taking place on the afternoon of January 11.

Na Ngoi Commune is a border area with 3 ethnic groups: Thai, Mong, Kho Mu living in 19 villages. Of which, Mong ethnic people account for 90%.
Although the lives of the people here have improved a lot, due to the rugged mountainous terrain, they still face many difficulties. Currently, the poverty rate of the commune is still high, over 55% and the near-poor rate accounts for over 10%.
Understanding that difficulty, the Nghe An Province Young Entrepreneurs Association organized the program "Tet for the Poor 2024" to give gifts, supplies and necessities to families in difficult circumstances in Na Ngoi commune, Ky Son district with a total value of more than 120 million VND.

Specifically, the program awarded 60 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND/gift/household; 1 Dess water purifier; 200 pairs of children's sandals; 20 500ml mineral water tanks; 116 sets of electric kettles; 2 heaters; 10 buckets of SK paint with a total value of more than 120 million VND along with necessities and school supplies...
In addition, the Nghe An Province Young Entrepreneurs Association presented a house of gratitude worth 50 million VND to the family of Mr. Gia Ba Chai (1966) in Buoc Mu village, Na Ngoi commune - a poor household in the commune and 30 million VND in cash to 60 households in difficult circumstances.
This amount is taken from the prize at gOnline running race to raise funds for "Warm Tet in the Western region of Nghe An"The remaining 40 million VND was contributed by members to support the people.

Ms. Che Thi Hoai Thanh - Vice President of Nghe An Province Young Entrepreneurs Association said that in 2023, despite facing many difficulties, Nghe An Province Young Entrepreneurs Association and member businesses sponsored 10 orphaned and homeless students. At the same time, hundreds of millions of VND were given to students and families in difficult circumstances in Nghe An province.
