Macau Association of Fellow Countrymen presented 54 gifts to flood-affected people
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 6, representatives of the Vietnamese Mutual Assistance Association in Macau coordinated with the People's Committee of Hung Trung Commune (Hung Nguyen) to organize a gift-giving ceremony for families in difficult circumstances due to the impact of floods in the area.
Hung Trung is one of the communes most severely affected by floods in Hung Nguyen during the recent flood. On this occasion, the Association of Vietnamese Mutual Assistance in Macau presented 42 gifts to 42 families in especially difficult circumstances in the commune, each worth 500,000 VND.

Also on November 6, representatives of the Association directly visited and presented 12 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to 12 families whose relatives drowned or were struck by lightning in the recent floods in the province, including 3 families in Hung Nguyen, 6 families in Thanh Chuong, 2 families in Nam Dan and 1 family in Yen Thanh.
In Nghe An, the Association presented a total of 54 gifts, worth 27 million VND. This is the heart of the Vietnamese community living, studying and working in Macau, including the Nghe An Association, looking towards their homeland, to share and encourage people affected by floods to overcome difficulties and losses, and soon stabilize their lives.
