Nghe An Provincial Women's Union has a new Vice President

Attending and directing were comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and delegates from the Executive Committee of the Provincial Women's Union.

At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa - Member of the Party Executive Committee - President of the Provincial Women's Union announced the Notice of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on personnel work, electing comrade Hoang Thi Thanh Minh - Member of the Standing Committee - Chief of Office of the Provincial Women's Union to hold the position of Vice President of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union, term 2016 - 2021.

In accordance with the regulations of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the conference also carried out the nomination process and nominated a list of delegates to hold the position of Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union.

The conference also unanimously elected comrade Hoang Thi Thanh Minh to hold the position of Vice President of the Women's Union of Nghe An province for the 2016-2021 term with 100% approval rate.

Speaking at the assignment and presenting flowers to comrade Hoang Thi Thanh Minh, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission highly appreciated comrade Hoang Thi Thanh Minh's efforts over 21 years of working at the Provincial Women's Union.

With his experience and many contacts at the grassroots level, he believes that the new Vice President of the Association will be able to develop his capacity. From there, in his new position, together with the collective, he will continue to advise and have many effective programs in the field he is responsible for.

Through this, we also hope that the Executive Committee of the Provincial Women's Union will continue to unite and unify to accelerate the movement and make the organization's activities increasingly develop and become more effective, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

In her acceptance speech, Comrade Hoang Thi Thanh Minh thanked the comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee and members of the Provincial Women's Union for their trust. In her new position, she promised to continue to practice her political mettle and constantly study and improve her qualifications to complete the assigned tasks.

At the conference, delegates also discussed the assessment of the implementation of three breakthroughs of the term, which are "Improving the effectiveness of supervision, social criticism, and policy advice to contribute to solving women's urgent problems; "Creating changes in the quality and effectiveness of propaganda and mobilizing women to proactively participate in cooperative economic development, focusing on safe and sustainable production and business"; "Improving the quality of organization and operation of grassroots associations; diversifying forms of gathering women; promoting the ownership of members and women".

These are three important contents to improve the effectiveness of activities at the grassroots level, contributing to helping members develop the economy and build an increasingly strong and effective association.
