More than 100 militiamen help people maintain roads

(Baonghean.vn) - On April 8, the Military Command of Anh Son district mobilized more than 100 militiamen to help people in Tam Son commune maintain rural roads.

The road leading to the headquarters of the People's Committee of Tam Son Commune, Anh Son District, was invested in construction since 2006. However, due to the large number of overloaded vehicles carrying various types of materials circulating daily, the road has now seriously degraded. To help local people travel conveniently and safely, the Military Command of Anh Son District has mobilized more than 100 militiamen to help the locality level the severely damaged sections of the road.

After one day, the militia and self-defense forces have filled in many damaged areas on a road of more than 7km. This is a practical action of the armed forces of Anh Son district, demonstrating the solidarity between the army and the people, and at the same time contributing to making Tam Son commune soon become a new rural commune.
