More than 200 students compete at the Nghe An Youth Informatics Contest
(Baonghean.vn) - 212 candidates are outstanding students, selected from primary, secondary and high schools across the province to compete in the 25th Nghe An Youth Informatics Contest 2019, held on the morning of May 11 in Vinh City.
The Youth Informatics Competition is an activity to create a competitive movement, to motivate and encourage youth and children in the whole province to take the lead in studying, researching and effectively applying scientific knowledge of information technology.
The contest also helps to evaluate the potential and ability to absorb IT knowledge in particular and new technology in general of young people. On that basis, it is possible to propose solutions to train, foster and promote young IT talents, serving the cause of industrialization and modernization of the province.

This is truly a day of exchange and learning between contestants and friends, teachers, and IT experts. The contest is not only meaningful as an academic playground but also affirms and honors the most excellent students, demonstrating good IT skills in studying.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, 212 contestants entered the competition. Students will participate in 2 competitions on IT programming skills and creative product competition (PMST).

Through the contest, the provincial Youth Informatics team will be discovered and trained to participate in the National Youth Informatics Contest held in Quang Binh province in August 2019.
The closing ceremony and award ceremony for outstanding contestants will take place on the morning of May 12 at Vinh University.
