More than 200 people used drugs in the bar
Several groups of young men threw drugs when police raided bar 030-X8 in District 1; hundreds of people were taken to headquarters for inspection.

In the early morning of March 24, a section of Nam Quoc Cang Street, Pham Ngu Lao Ward (District 1) - where bar 030-X8 is located, was blocked off. Nearly a hundred police officers from Team 2 (anti-gangster crime) of the Criminal Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, along with the Administrative Management Police, District 1 Police raided the bar, catching more than 300 people dancing to the music, showing signs of using drugs.
Several groups of young men threw drugs into the crowd, ran chaotically to the doors but were stopped by the police. All guests were taken to headquarters.
Many packages of synthetic drugs, ecstasy... were found under the dance floor.

Test results show that more than 200 people tested positive for drugs. Many employees of bar 030-X8 are suspected of possessing ecstasy.
Bar 030-X8 is located in a busy area, next to Saigon's Western Street, welcoming hundreds of guests every night. Drug users rate this bar as having the most "magical" sound and light system in Saigon. Police have discovered many young people using drugs here.
