More than 3,000 candidates take the entrance exam to specialized schools in Nghe An

This year’s exam will be held simultaneously at two locations: Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted and Huynh Thuc Khang High School. In the morning, candidates will take the specialized subjects, with a test time of 120 minutes (Foreign Language and Chemistry) and 150 minutes for the remaining subjects. This afternoon, candidates will take the Foreign Language test.

This year, according to the approved plan, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted is allowed to enroll a maximum of 455 students, including 385 students for 11 specialized classes, including Math, Informatics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, English, Russian, French and 70 students for specialized classes in the fields of Foreign Languages ​​and Natural Sciences. Currently, according to the list of registered applications, there are nearly 1,400 applications to the school. Of which, the largest number is for the English specialized class with 256 applications. In addition, there are 191 applications for the Literature specialized class, 182 applications for the Math specialized class, 177 applications for the Chemistry specialized class, 144 applications for the Physics specialized class, 145 applications for the Biology specialized class, 81 applications for the Information Technology specialized class, and 80 applications for the Russian specialized class.

The number of applications for each class specializing in French, History, and Geography ranges from about 30 to 50 applications.

This morning, Vinh University High School for the Gifted has officially entered the 10th grade entrance exam. This year, according to the summary, the number of applications to the school has increased dramatically with 1,800 applications (an increase of more than 500 applications compared to the previous school year). Of which, the largest number of applications is for the English specialized class with 578 applications.

According to the plan, Vinh University High School for the Gifted will recruit 8 specialized classes. In addition, it will recruit 4 high-quality classes. It is expected that each class will have an average of 35 students.

Previously, Vinh University also announced the list of 96 candidates who were directly admitted to Vinh University High School for the Gifted.
