More than 300 elderly people participate in the Senior Contest 'Live happily - Live healthily'

On the morning of August 21, in Anh Son district, the Provincial Department of Population and Family Planning coordinated with the District Health Center to organize the "Live happily - Live healthily" contest for the elderly with the participation of more than 300 elderly members in the whole district.

The contest had the participation of 3 teams from Phuc Son, Vinh Son communes and Anh Son town. Through 3 rounds including greeting, healthy living knowledge and happy living knowledge, the teams had useful experiences.

Through that, not only can talent and knowledge be demonstrated, but a playground and opportunity for healthy and practical exchange can also be created so that the elderly can live happily, healthily and usefully.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Ba Tan - Head of the Department of Population and Family Planning highly appreciated the important contributions of the elderly to their families and society. Therefore, taking care of the material and spiritual life and continuing to promote the role of the elderly is the responsibility of the family, the State and the whole society.

The main task is to take care of health, create a friendly and increasingly better environment, and at the same time exploit the potential of the elderly, create motivation and contribute to the economic and social development of the locality.

The Senior Citizens' Competition "Live happily - Live healthily" in Anh Son district also opened the door for competitions that will continue to be held in the coming time in Tuong Duong, Tan Ky and Thanh Chuong districts.

This contest aims to contribute to raising the understanding of leaders and people about the policies and laws of the Party and State related to the elderly; the role and contributions of the elderly in all aspects of life.
