More than 500 students in Nghe An participate in the 'Military Semester' departure ceremony
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 5, the Provincial Youth Union, Military School of Military Region 4, and the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An organized a ceremony to send off the 2016 "Semester in the Army" class.
Attending the departure ceremony were comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, representatives of Military School of Military Region 4, leaders of the Department of Education and Training, many parents and more than 500 students participating in the "Semester in the Army" class.

This is the 6th year the “Military Semester” class has been held in Nghe An. The program took place from June 5 to June 14 at the Military School of Military Region 4 (Nam Anh Commune, Nam Dan District) with more than 500 students from 21 districts, cities and towns in the province and students from Hanoi Capital and Ha Tinh Province.

The program "Semester in the Army" is for young people aged 11-17 with three main topics: "Learning to be a soldier", "Journey to the roots", "Discovery and experience". During the program, students also have the opportunity to meet and interact with famous artists.
Through this, students will be equipped with military knowledge, life skills, self-reliance training, teamwork skills, building solidarity, how to adapt and survive in modern society, combined with lessons on moral values, youth personality, family love, living responsibly for oneself, family and society.
