More than 500 people participated in overcoming the consequences of flash floods in Yen Tinh
(Baonghean.vn) - Immediately after the flash flood caused serious consequences to Yen Tinh commune (Tuong Duong), especially to the Boarding Secondary School and the primary school in Pa Ty village, more than 500 people from various forces and local people were immediately mobilized to participate in the recovery.

According to information from Tuong Duong district, after receiving information about the flash flood causing damage in Yen Tinh commune, the district People's Committee immediately mobilized more than 500 people including armed forces, youth union members and local people to participate in overcoming the consequences. The youth union members alone had nearly 150 people participating, mobilized from Yen Na and Yen Hoa communes.

The remediation activities focused on helping Yen Tinh Boarding Secondary School and Pa Ty Primary School to clear the mud in the classrooms and grounds. Within a day of active work, the remediation work at Pa Ty School was basically completed, and tomorrow (September 19), students can continue to go to class.

At the Boarding Secondary School, only the classrooms, desks, chairs and school supplies have been cleaned. The school grounds are still covered in mud. Tomorrow, the school will have students off to continue the cleaning work.

At the same time, Tuong Duong District Youth Union mobilized 40 Youth Union members to Huoi Pai village to help 2 families dismantle and move their houses to a safe place. Tomorrow, Youth Union members and local forces will continue to overcome the consequences of floods in Yen Tinh commune.
