Hung Nguyen promotes drowning prevention

(Baonghean.vn) - On June 15, the District People's Committee coordinated with Hung Nguyen District Youth Union to organize a propaganda exchange on drowning prevention for children.

The exchange attracted the participation of government agencies, departments, branches, mass organizations from district to grassroots levels and more than 500 teenagers and children from Hung Tan, Hung Thong and Hung Xa communes.

Comrade Cao Anh Duc - Secretary of Hung Nguyen District Youth Union presented gifts to the children who bravely saved their drowning friends.

At the exchange, students watched skits and reports about drowning accidents, the risks of drowning accidents, first aid skills when drowning accidents occur... thereby equipping them with knowledge and skills to prevent drowning accidents.

Put up a warning sign about drowning accidents on Hoang Can River, passing through Hung Tan commune.

On this occasion, Hung Nguyen District Youth Union presented 100 warning signs to communes to be placed in dangerous deep water areas to prevent drowning accidents. The District Party Committee, District People's Committee and District Youth Union coordinated with Hung Tan Commune Youth Union to place warning signs of drowning on Hoang Can River, passing through Hamlet 3, Hung Tan Commune.
