The murderer killed and then kissed his lover's body.
After killing his married lover, Suol (in Ca Mau) kissed the corpse and then took the victim’s car to escape. The suspect was arrested by the police several hours after committing the crime.
On the afternoon of April 18, Ca Mau Provincial Police prosecuted Luu Van Suol (43 years old, residing in Khanh Lam Commune, U Minh District) for Murder and Robbery. The victim was Tuyet, 28 years old, married with children, living in the same hamlet as the defendant.
According to the investigation agency, Suol is a fisherman, divorced from his wife, and is raising an 11-year-old son. For nearly two years, this man has been in a relationship with Tuyet. On the day of the murder, they arranged to meet at a rented room in Khanh An commune, U Minh district.

Suol said that when they first met, Tuyet told him that she was single. When he learned that the victim was married, Suol suggested that his lover break up. However, the perpetrator could not end this illicit relationship because he still regretted the large amount of property that he had given to Tuyet.
"I gave her more than 100 million VND. A few days ago, I held the motorbike and needed ransom money, so I asked Tuyet to return 13 million VND. On the morning of April 16, we made an appointment to go to the motel and have 'sex'. After that, when I mentioned the money, Tuyet cursed at me, said she didn't lack money, and beat me. Too angry, I used my hands to strangle Tuyet," the man said.
Discovering his lover dead from suffocation, Suôl dressed the victim and hugged and kissed her body. Afterwards, the killer took the victim's wallet and car to leave the scene. "I didn't mean to kill Tuyet because I loved her very much. It's been hot these past few days, so I even bought gloves and socks for Tuyet," Suôl said.
At around 1pm on the day of the murder, the cleaning staff at the motel saw that the door of Ms. Tuyet's rented room was ajar. He called out loudly but no one answered, so he pushed the door open to check and discovered the female guest's body.
Upon receiving the report from the landlord, the Criminal Police Department (PC45) of Ca Mau Police organized an investigation of the scene and the body. Although the victim's jewelry was not missing, Ms. Tuyet showed signs of suffocation and external force to her neck.

Following the trail, the commander at the scene, Colonel Truong Ngoc Danh (Deputy Director of Ca Mau Provincial Police), determined that this was a murder case. He directed PC45 to send many good detectives to investigate.
That same night, police discovered the victim’s motorbike parked at a coffee shop 10 km away from the scene. The shop owner said a man had parked the motorbike in the afternoon, saying he was going on a business trip, but had not returned to pick it up.
From this motorbike, the detectives found Suôl's clue. By the afternoon of April 17, Ca Mau police urgently arrested the perpetrator and Suôl clearly confessed the process of committing the crime. "After a day and a night of thinking, I was about to go to the police to surrender when I was arrested," Suôl told a police officer.
