Due to a conflict over seating arrangements, the tour guide got angry and stabbed two tourists, killing one and seriously injuring the other.

According to Reuters, the incident occurred at 7:30 p.m. on August 9, when the Chinese couple Luo Jinli, 45 years old, and Dong Ya, 47 years old, were having dinner with their two children at the Keekorok Lodge restaurant, in Kenya's Masai Mara reserve.

Lee Changqin, a Chinese tour guide, approached the couple, claiming to be at that table, and asked them to change seats. After a brief argument, he grabbed a knife and stabbed both the couple. More than 100 tourists who had dined there panicked and left the restaurant screaming. Restaurant staff tried to stop them and called the police.
