(Baonghean.vn) - The tornado occurred at around 1:15 p.m. on May 30 in Hom and Na Chao villages (Huu Kiem - Ky Son), causing dozens of houses to have their roofs blown off.

According to Mr. Luong Van Kham, a resident of Hom village, the tornado came so suddenly that his family had no time to move their belongings. In less than half an hour, almost the entire roof of his house was blown away.

According to our records, in Na Chao village, there are also many families that suffered damage due to the tornado. Many trees fell on the road, some shops of the people on National Highway 7A passing through this area were also damaged. Mr. Luong Van Lua's family suffered the most damage in the village when the entire roof of their house was blown away by the wind...

Immediately after the tornado occurred, the Huu Kiem commune government mobilized local forces including commune police and militia to overcome the consequences.

In addition to this tornado, there was also rain in Huu Kiem and Muong Xen towns. The rains helped make the hot days more bearable.
