Mobilizing 100% of traffic police force to ensure safety during the holidays

(Baonghean.vn) - Traffic is expected to increase dramatically during the holidays. Vinh City Police mobilized 100% of its personnel to ensure traffic safety during peak times.

To ensure traffic safety for people during the holidays, Vinh City Police have developed Plan 486 on April 25, 2017 to ensure traffic safety and order during the holidays of April 30 and May 1. Accordingly, the City Police mobilized 100% of its personnel to be on duty 24/7.

Focus on being on duty on roads and intersections with high traffic density, post public points to command and control traffic at intersections. Arrange forces to patrol, control, and handle behaviors and causes of congestion and accidents such as alcohol concentration violations, teenagers gathering in rows, not wearing helmets, carrying guns, etc.

Along with that, the authorities also focused on handling passenger cars driving in the wrong lanes and overcrowding the roads. They also increased the number of personnel at bus stations, train stations, and airports to promptly resolve traffic congestion.

Major Nguyen Duy Ha - Head of Traffic Police of Vinh City Police added: City Police mobilized a maximum of 100% of traffic police, public order police, ward and commune police to participate in patrolling, controlling and handling violations.

In which, the focus is on key routes: National Highway 1A through Vinh City, Le Duan, Nguyen Du, Tran Phu streets, Le Nin Avenue, Le Viet Thuat, and routes where tourists travel to Cua Lo. In addition, the City Police have plans to prevent illegal racing gatherings.

At the same time, strengthen coordination with ward and commune police to prevent large gatherings and illegal racing on holiday nights. The City Police also increased the force to supplement the special task force 212 (undercover) to fight and arrest law violators, those who weave in and out of traffic, do not wear helmets, carry weapons when participating in traffic, and those who shout and shout on the road, affecting traffic order and safety.

At the same time, closely coordinate with the traffic police force PC67 to ensure traffic order and safety on the routes to Cua Lo to serve the opening of the 2017 Cua Lo beach tourism season, focusing on the routes: Lam River coastal road, Le Viet Thuat, Thang Long avenue, Nghe An - Xieng Khouang route to ensure safe and smooth traffic flow for people.

The movement team in charge of the commune and the police force of Nghi An and Nghi Duc communes were mobilized to strengthen support for the regular forces to perform the task. In addition to the general plan, the City Police assigned the ward and commune police to advise the Secretary and the commune chairman to mobilize the civil defense forces, urban regulations, and militia to participate in ensuring traffic order and safety in the ward and commune, patrolling 24/24 hours according to plan 878 of Vinh City Police.

Identifying important tasks, the entire City Police force focused on human resources to be on duty and perform duties with the goal of bringing peace and happiness to the people.
