Deteriorating facilities
Pointing out the difficulties and shortcomings in the process of implementing Resolution No. 18 in implementing legal policies on socialization to improve the quality of people's health care, a representative of Dien Chau District General Hospital said: The price of medical services has been adjusted but has not yet been fully calculated, only 4/7 price components have been calculated, there are still 3 factors that have not been included: Depreciation of assets - equipment, electricity and water, training - scientific research.
Therefore, medical facilities do not ensure balance of income and expenditure, lack funds to maintain assets, and purchase replacement equipment.

Faced with that situation, the Director of Dien Chau District General Hospital requested superiors to consider supporting funding for building facilities and equipment for the hospital or have favorable policies to take advantage of social resources to invest in building facilities and purchasing equipment.

At the meeting, members of the monitoring team requested Dien Chau District General Hospital to discuss and clarify problems regarding mechanisms and policies; assess patient satisfaction; handle environmental sanitation at the hospital; receive and use socialized resources from domestic and foreign organizations; list of things that need to be socialized in the coming time; structure of the team of doctors and nurses that has met the hospital's standards; directions and tasks for training and fostering of staff, doctors and nurses; investment strategy for facilities and human resources of the hospital to improve the hospital's level...

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Thanh Hien highly appreciated the results of people's health care at Dien Chau District General Hospital.

Regarding recommendations and problems proposed by the units, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies will receive and synthesize recommendations to relevant ministries and branches; at the same time, report to the National Assembly to supplement and amend the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment, the Law on Health Insurance, the Labor Law and sub-law documents to be more suitable to reality.
