Tan Ky District Youth Union Congress for the 2017-2022 term

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 10, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tan Ky district held the 20th Congress of delegates for the 2017-2022 term. Attending were 153 official delegates representing 5,529 union members and youth participating in activities at union bases throughout the district.

During the past term, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tan Ky district has completed and exceeded 17/18 targets set by the Resolution of the 19th Congress of the Youth Union. Every year, there are over 3,000 projects and volunteer youth work for community life attracting more than 100,000 union members and young people to participate with a value of billions of VND.

The youth organizations have presented 9,051 gifts to policy families, families with especially difficult circumstances, poor but studious children with a total value of more than 2 billion VND. Youth economic development clubs are showing effectiveness. Up to now, the whole district has 100 economic models owned by youth with an income of 350 million to 800 million VND per year.

The Congress elected a new Executive Committee for the 2017-2022 term, consisting of 25 comrades, and elected a delegation to attend the upcoming Provincial Youth Union Congress.

On this occasion, Tan Ky District Youth Union received the Provincial Youth Union's excellent Emulation Flag for Youth Union work and youth movement for the 2012-2017 term.
