Quy Hop District inaugurated a traditional house worth nearly 5 billion VND

This is a project to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the district's founding (April 19, 1963 - April 19, 2018).

Attending the ceremony were comrades Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee;Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board; leaders and people of Quy Hop district.

In 2001, Quy Hop district was honored to be selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Nghe An province to direct the construction of a "Cultural district of mountainous areas and ethnic minorities". In response to the wishes of the ethnic people in the area to build a traditional work imbued with ethnic identity to have a place to display and introduce the traditions and identity of the homeland and nation.

The project "Quy Hop District Traditional House" was started on June 20, 2017 with a total investment of more than 4.9 billion VND from the district budget and contributions from local businesses. This is a cultural and public welfare project built within the premises of the Multi-functional Sports Center, with a reinforced concrete structure following the stilt house architecture, to introduce, propagate and educate the traditions of the ethnic groups in the area. After nearly 9 months of construction, the project has been completed and put into use.
