Hyundai will produce a new all-electric SUV next year that will have 161 horsepower and a range of up to 500 miles on a full charge.

Hyundai will produce a new all-electric SUV next year that can travel up to 800 km on a full charge. The SUV has just been unveiled to the public in Seoul, South Korea.

The new model, which has yet to be named, uses the fourth-generation ix35 Fuel Cell technology and produces 161 horsepower, a 20 percent increase over the previous generation. Hyundai claims that the new SUV's powertrain is 60 percent efficient, a 9 percent increase over its predecessor.

The cooling system on the new SUV has been significantly improved, with the cooling temperature reduced by a minimum of 30 degrees. It is also powered by three engines, up from two on the ix35. The car uses lightweight materials and plastic panels, which significantly reduces weight.

This version will be officially announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January 2018. Hyundai will also introduce the brand's latest autonomous technology.

The design language of the new electric SUV is based on the Concept FE that debuted at the recent Geneva Motor Show, with slim headlights and a neatly designed dashboard.

This is the first of 31 new models to be developed by Hyundai and its sister brand Kia by 2020. Hyundai is the first automaker in the world to launch a new car with three electric-mechanical powertrains. It will come in hybrid, electric and plug-in hybrid forms.
