'iPhone was invented in the 17th century'
Apple CEO Tim Cook, during his visit to Amsterdam, said that he noticed the iPhone in one of Rembrandt's paintings.

Mr Cook jokingly added that this suggests that the gadget was invented in the 17th century. The Apple CEO told CNBC this.
Twitter users immediately took notice of the Apple executive's discovery, with some starting to post pictures with iPhones on their blogs.

In early March, Reddit users found that the Czechoslovakian sci-fi film "I Killed Einstein, Gentlemen," released in 1969, featured similar models of a selfie stick. One of the female characters in the film uses a device similar to a modern selfie monopod, using which she takes a photo of herself.
