Depending on the outcome, these meetings could lead to a trilateral summit between South Korea, North Korea and the United States. We need to thoroughly resolve the issues of denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and the establishment of peace through the upcoming and subsequent negotiations.”
The South Korean president asked the committee to make preparations to show North Korea and the United States what they will get by reaching a peaceful solution to the North Korean nuclear issue.
President Moon is expected to hold a summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un at the end of next month, while US President Donald Trump said he will meet the North Korean leader at the end of May./.
