"Russian tour operators believe that strong interest in Vietnam will continue in the second half of 2016. There is now an additional driver of revenue growth in this sector, namely direct air routes to Russian cities," the statement said.

According to ATOR, the most popular resorts in Vietnam for Russians are Phan Thiet and Phu Quoc Island, where tourists stay for 10-14 days.

At the same time, through studying photos on Instagram, taken on the coast of the East Sea, Sputnik found that Russian tourists really like Vietnamese beaches.
